Square Circles. Oval Spheres. edit

> "Potato starch contains typical large oval spherical granules"

Firstly, this makes no sense. An object cannot be both oval and also spherical.

Secondly, if its granules are typical, then what are they typical of? What is meant here is "Typically, potato starch contains " or "Potato starch contains grains which typically are large oval spheres" (again - this is a nonsense, but that's not the issue here).

> Potato starch is a very refined starch, containing minimal protein or fat.

That is not what "refined" usually means, in the context of foods. "Refined" usually means "processed (specifically, in order to increase a foodstuff's purity)". Refined sugar. Refined flour. Not what is meant here.

Unlike other starches potato starch is a resistant starch, it goes through the stomach and small intestine undigested. It that respect it is very much similar to soluble fibre. Gentleman wiki (talk) 20:41, 20 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
