Same critic
editIn section Literary significance and reception it reads ; Postern of Fate has been criticized as of lower quality than the bulk of Christie's output. According to The Cambridge Guide to Women's Writing in English, this novel is one of the "execrable last novels" where Christie "loses her grip altogether". Exactly the same paragraph appears in the corresponding dsection of Elephants Can Remember. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 21:27, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
Plot Expansion Needed
editI feel that someone who has previously read the book, or has the book in their possession, should extensively expand and edit the plot summary in the article. I cannot personally do this, as I do not have the book in my possession, but I hope someone else can help with this issue. — Preceding unsigned comment added by LarryVlad (talk • contribs) 05:42, 31 December 2012 (UTC)
The plot is pretty much incomprehensible, and therefore rather difficult to summarise.Rithom (talk) 04:34, 5 May 2015 (UTC)
Adaptations need review
editIt is one of only four Christie novels not to have received an adaptation of any kind, the others being Death Comes as the End, Destination Unknown, and Passenger to Frankfurt.
This is not correct as the BBC Radio has made an adaptation of Postern of Fate, and maybe the others too. It is correct for TV or Film adaptations as far as I know. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:C7F:9A40:EF00:8A6:5A7D:4D8F:7C75 (talk) 07:12, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
