Copyright violation edit
Unfortunately virtually the whole article is a copyright violation of the these pages [1] [2] [3] [4] taken from the Estonian Post website. Wikipedia does not permit copyright violations, so unless the text is rewritten with independent reliable sources I will mark the article as a copyvio and it will likely be deleted. Even though the Estonian Post website does not have a copyright notice on their pages, the text is still their copyright and you would need them to licence it appropriately for Wikipedia to use it. My advise is that you should rewrite the article using other sources but you can of course use some of the Estonian Post information as sources for any rewritten article but you cannot just a copy and paste their text. The article will not hold up as it is, which is a pity because we can do with more country philatelic articles. I guess the copy paste was too easy ;). Anyway I added the cp to have some frame to work on. I been working for the past few hours on the page and I think its taking a nice shape and outlook already. I am myself a stamp collector - this article has a special meaning for me. I will add templates and article parts with few days intervals - as I am busy with the graduation in the university. I hope you bother to check up the spelling and/or sentence structure - as I am not a native English speaker myself - so the article would be better to read and also better to make sense. Post-'91? edit
While the 1918-40 part is great, may I suggest we focus a little on the modern era too? For instance before writing "Estonian Post issues an average...", introduce the reader to the fact that due to a half-century of Soviet occupation, stamp production ceased in Estonia but was resumed after independence... I'm not sure quite how much there is to say, and of course the earlier part is of more interest to philatelists, but it's an idea. Biruitorul (talk) 05:41, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
Clarify, please edit
The discussion of the first issue perforated (?) needs some clarification and bit of expansion. Specifically, in this area: "According to the Post Office in Tallinn the organization (which organization?) sold about 6,500 stamps to a dealer (why?), who sent most of them via Finland to Germany (for what purpose?). The Package never arrived and its fate is still unknown.Fconaway (talk) 06:48, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
- I need to suggest you should look at burden of evidence and the citation templates for guidance on providing citations for information in the article. Hope that helps as uncited, questionable data may be removed, but I am sure it can be added from the sources used to write the article. Cheers Ww2censor (talk) 22:52, 30 March 2008
