Equating "Cost Leadership" with "Price Leadership"

The article appears to equate cost leadership with price leadership and this is not what Porter intended in my opinion. The author of this section might want to refer to the explanation given at http://www.quickmba.com/strategy/generic.shtml and revise this section to place emphasis on what is said about keeping costs low and that this *might* result in low prices but does not do so automatically. As worded I believe the article confuses students who need to understand that consistently low prices are only one possible outcome of a low cost leadership strategy. Image: Stuck in The Middle

As much as I like more original images added to the Wikipedia, I can't help but notice a couple of issues with this contribution.

The image adds only one bit of information: a "Stuck in The Middle" box, which is located between the three strategies. If this bit is necessary, it can be easily added to the existing image, without using additional space and contributing to the visual pollution of the article. Which brings me to the next point: the colors of the image are to vibrant and the whole thing attracts way to much attention, which may distract some readers from the article.

Well, I don't mean to bash this image (easpecially, seeing that the author has made many worthy contributions before), but wouldn't it be more reasonable to merge the images by adding a "Stuck in The Middle" box to the exising image? Denis Fadeev (talk) 03:34, 9 June 2014 (UTC)

Hello Denis! Thank you for your feedback. I agree with you that the colours are vibrant. I based the image on a management book which uses the same colours. I also agree with you that it would probably be better to change this image to accommodate a "stuck in the middle" box. I'm assuming you have the original file and can upload a new version soon. If not please let me know. Thanks! ~ Zirguezi 09:40, 9 June 2014 (UTC)
