Hepatic portal vein - moving page?

Does anyone have the power to move this page to hepatic portal vein? The hepatic is official, and is used to distinguish it from the concept of a portal vein in general. Mauvila 16:32, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

Information does not match

I realised that the portal venous system information does not match for the "Hepatic Portal Vein" page and the "hypopgysea portal system". One said that there is only 2 while the other stated 3. Function of the portal vein

Renal portal system contradiction

Summary states

> It is a major component of the hepatic portal system, one of three portal venous systems in the human body; the others being the hypophyseal and renal portal systems.

But the first sentence in the linked "Renal portal system" article states

> A renal portal system is a portal venous system found in reptiles, and fish excluding hagfish and lampreys. It is not found in mammals.

There is a renal portal system in the human body, but it is an arterial one and not a venous one, so the link to the renal portal system on this page is a wrong one. 185.45.22.133 (talk) 09:58, 9 September 2024 (UTC)
