Contradiction with other page
editThis article claims that the Port of Singapore is currently the busiest port by tonnage, the article on the Port of Shanghai claims that it has been the busiest port by tonnage since 2005. Only one of these claims can be true. I reference this comment on the Port of Shanghai talk page.

This article contradicts itself, and it contradicts another Wikipedia page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_world%27s_busiest_ports_by_cargo_tonnage). The second sentence states that it is the second-busiest port in the world by tonnage. Reading farther down in the "Operations" section, it states it is the busiest. Finally, on the page listed above, it shows it as the third busiest. Two pages, three different answers. The World Shipping Council lists Singapore as the second-busiest, coming in just behind Shanghai (http://www.worldshipping.org/about-the-industry/global-trade/top-50-world-container-ports)

PSA is not the world's busiest port
editPlease read the report from the Tamasek Review, which claims that "Shanghai’s container traffic surpassed Singapore’s last year, making the wealthiest city of China the world’s busiest port as the economy churns out more goods for export and draws in greater trade flows" Here is the link: http://www.temasekreview.com/2011/01/08/shanghai-surpasses-singapore-as-worlds-busiest-port-as-trade-volumes-jump/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jalal0 (talk • contribs) 13:41, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
