Deletion

This article seems to have been deleted without much thought. Could it be restored so that claims of copyvio can be considered? I had a look and it didn't look like copyvio to me. -- roundhouse0 13:13, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

so far

have made a start by correcting English. The history section will refer to links with Rouen and the recent Port 2000 development Geographical: lies at the mouth of the Seine Hinterland: is largely non-industrial but relatively good waterway connections with Paris and beyond. Some industry in Rouen but as France is still feeling the impact of Colbert's policies no large industrial consumers nearby. Have reduced the size of the graphics but they are now almost illegible Would like to find some other more interesting photographic material. Does anybody live near Le Havre? I am a bit puzzled by "Miscellaneous" in the statistics column, maybe this should read "General Cargo". Competing ports nearby are Caen and Cherbourg, and Dunkirk further up the coast. Honfleur is historically interesting. Le Havre is the first port in the "Hamburg Range" Everybody got to be somewhere! (talk) 23:25, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Help

Could someone please help format the images so that the caption under the satellite image can be seen? I've been struggling to find the right coding for this but so far no luck. Everybody got to be somewhere! (talk) 21:03, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

Port plan map

Poorly done map plan of the port! Black on dark blue? I can barely see the words that are in large print, cant make out the small print in the channels. Suggest changing the dark blue to a very light blue, such as sky blue (tends to be the color chosen for water on most professional maps for just this reason). I have noticed port pages tend to love this navy blue color but really..not a good color on a computer screen. Not a fan of the port layout suggestion from the project ports page discussion either.
