Sardar M aIbrahim Khan, Sardar A qayyum Khan, Col Sher ahmad, Sardar Sikandar hayat khan, Major General M Hayat Khan, Maj Gen M Anwar Khan, Sardar Atiq ahmad Khan, Haji M yaqub khan have been Presidents and prime Ministers.Poonch has produced men like Krishan chander. the primary occupation of people for a long time was Aremy service. Now the trend has changed and people are mostly serving abroad,. Interestingly it has a very high literacy rate though the quality of education remains debatable. as there is no local infrastructure people have to go abroad or migrate. it is imperative that keeping in view the large volume of foreign exchange the area be developed from educational tourists oint of view so as to contain brain and brawn drain. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sudozai (talkcontribs) 05:54, 20 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
