Marine angelfish group → Pomacanthidae — Changing name to conform to WikiProject Fishes naming standards. There are multiple fish groups known as angelfish, so we should use the family name. —[[User:sbidny|Steven Bidny]] (talk) 01:26, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

Hermaphroditism edit
The sweeping statement that “all angelfish are known to be protogynous hermaphrodites” has no references/citations, thus no credibility. Only a few species are known to be protogynous and to document this often requires a great deal of histological examination of gonads. Scott.vansant (talk) 01:49, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
