Quaternium-15 edit

Is Quaternium-15 the monomer of which poly-quaternium is formed? Benkeboy 18:18, 14 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Incorrect definition edit

This entry is highly misleading. Polyquaternium is the name for several cationic polymers that have been approved for personal care use. It is not a single type of polymer. Poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) is only one of them, namely Polyquaternium-7. If anyone can get the list of the polymers it should be linked to this entry. I will try to find it. Major revision with the correct definition completed. Please add other descriptions of polyquaterniums. Delmlsfan 02:36, 28 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

polyquarternium-4 edit

Remove tradename column? edit

Is it relevant to an encyclopedia article? I'd like to remove it. The information it contains is easily searchable on the web and suppliers do not need the advertising that Wikipedia confers. Delmlsfan (talk) 23:58, 26 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Since there have been no comments, I am removing the column. Delmlsfan (talk) 15:23, 10 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

What about Polyquaternium WSCP? edit

Polyquaternium WSCP or "Poly [oxyethylene (dimethyliminio) ethylene -(dimethyliminio)ethylene dichloride]" is used as an algicide, not for personal care. I'm looking for the translation in Spanish, so I turned to Wikipedia and found this article. Should WSCP be added here or to a separate article? DBlomgren (talk) 17:47, 7 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Good news, that's Polyquaternium 42. "WSCP" is the name-brand manufactured by Buckman, but there are other manufacturers. -204.148.168.162 (talk) 17:45, 7 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
