Talk:Polynomial identity ring

Exterior algebra edit

Exterior algebras do not in general satisfy xy + yx= 0 as polynomial identity. In fact the wedges in pairs of basis elements commute, so this fails as soon as there are four generators (leaving aside the question of whether there is an identity element). It should have been [[x,y],z]=xyz-xzz-zxy+zyz=0. Right?  franklin  19:32, 30 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
