Not subscription only edit

I removed this from the intro:

The paper is currently subscription only, reflecting the specialist nature of its readership.

Since it's in my local newspaper shops. --Gronky (talk) 10:47, 4 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Propaganda sheet? edit

Would it be fair to describe "European Voice" as a propaganda sheet? --Damorbel (talk) 06:32, 22 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Axel Springer AG is not "neutral" edit

Axel Springer AG is one of the largest German media conglomerates and politically clearly standing on the (center-)right (see BILD, Welt etc. in Germany). It's strange to read here that Politico is supposed to be "neutral". Anyway, what is "neutral"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.17.244.3 (talk) 07:40, 19 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

This article possibly contains original research. (January 2018)

Original research has been deleted (POLITICO Pro’s paid offerings reach many thousand policy experts and decision-makers from over 730 organizations in 28 countries. Subscribers include EU and national government, corporations, trade associations, consultancies, law firms, and NGOs.) and information on POLITICO Pro from from two different references has been added.

This article needs additional citations for verification. (January 2018)

Additional citations have been added for verification and internal Wikipedia links have been added to reference the sources of research findings mentioned in this article.

This article may contain improper references to self-published sources. (January 2018)

The self-published sources in this article are journalistic articles and interviews conducted by Politico journalists who adhere to a high standard of the journalistic profession. Previously included self-published source that included promotional information seem to have been removed.

This article needs to be updated. (May 2016)

The article seems to have been updated several times since May 2016.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.199.68.200 (talk) 09:53, 5 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

I've restored the tags, bar the update tag. Having gone through the links, the majority are self-referenced. The article needs third party reliable sources, which is why it was tagged for this issue in the first instance. It does not appear that the conditions of tag removal have been met, with the brunt of the article essentially being based on the problematic self reference here. WP:PROMO sources such as Axelspringer.com are explicitly PR companies. Evidence of notability still needs to be met. --20:11, 5 September 2018 (UTC)
