GAC edit

In looking over this article I came to the conclusion that it is not ready for GA status yet. The article needs a major increase in the number of citations and references. The article also needs to be reviewed for the clarity of the prose. In many cases the wording was hard to follow / confusing but I think that is a problem which can be cleared up in a short period of time. I believe that the article has potential but it is simply not ready for GA status at this time. If you have any questions feel free to put them here or on my talk page. Could you add {{fact}} to the places citation is needed, and note here what is confusing? As a non-native English speaker and author of this article I'll be happy to provide more citations, but I like the prose as it is :( -- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk  00:40, 1 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wrong Name edit

Polskie Siły Zbrojne na Wschodzie and Polish Army in USSR was not the same. Polskie Siły Zbrojne na Wschodzie (Polish Army in the East) was the name after the evacuation from the Soviet Union in 1942. Polskie Siły Zbrojne na Wschodzie was under british command. --85.176.2.204 (talk) 12:19, 26 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Polish Army Byelorusian Front.jpg edit

Image:Polish Army Byelorusian Front.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Image copyright problem with Image:Polska Flaga Berlin.jpg edit

The image Image:Polska Flaga Berlin.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --21:35, 1 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
