editShould someone add the Heartland Poker Tour to this page? www.heartlandpokertour.com —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.119.54.59 (talk) 21:14, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
Did the pocket/hole cam lead to a decline in viewship?
editThe lead paragraph currently reads:
Poker television programs had been extremely popular, especially in North America and Europe, following the poker boom. However, viewership has been declining dramatically in recent years. This has especially become the case since the invention of the "pocket cam" in 1997 (and its first use in the United States in 2002), which allows viewers at home to see each player's hole cards.
This implies that the introduction of the pocket/hole cam was responsible for a decline in poker TV viewerships. Is that really the case? I suspect the second and third sentences should be swapped.
Also, it might be useful to add a format column (tournament/cash game/game show, etc.) to the lists of programs. The European table should probably have a language and/or country column as well. 93.216.79.4 (talk) 10:06, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
