Comments edit

The link "+/-" redirects to the page about the hockey statistic rather than the one about the band. Search as I may, I haven't yet found a page on the band in the wiki torpy 06:21, 3 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation page please? edit

I'm looking for the chemistry concept, which is somehow related to R/S and enantiomers (I think). Given that there are multiple other meanings listed at the top, I'd like to see a disambiguation page on +/-. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jojojlj (talkcontribs) 15:06, 26 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

See Plus-minus (disambiguation). -DJSasso (talk) 23:28, 19 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

larry robinson edit

the plus/minus statistics for Larry Robinson seem to conflict with those on his wikipedia page. maybe someone knowledgeable on the subject can check it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.205.203.2 (talk) 07:55, 8 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Inaccurate to call it a plus/minus "rating" edit

Why? The article doesn't explain, or link to any explanation. 64.47.91.34 (talk) 20:08, 21 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

I came here to say the same thing. A "ratio" is the result of dividing, but a "rating" is just an assessment.
I'm going to change that part of the article. TypoBoy (talk) 03:45, 25 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
A Google search showed that it's very rare to call the statistic a "plus-minus ratio". It's a pointless digression to debunk something that isn't being embunked. And there was no citation for the claim that it's wrong to call it a "ratio" (as why indeed should there be, if nobody is doing it). So I removed all mention of a "plus-minus ratio". Let us speak no more of it. TypoBoy (talk) 03:58, 25 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

After substitutions during free throws? edit

How are the plus/minus stats affected for players on the floor for the foul but now out, and for the incoming players when the next free throw is made? NjtoTX (talk) 12:45, 8 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
