Possible link to Plumpton, New South Wales
editThe article Plumpton, New South Wales states that Plumpton, New South Wales was named because
- Coursing in England was conducted at Plumpton, so that name replaced Woodstock.
Does this relate to Plumpton, Cumbria, or is it another Plumpton? Was Walter Lamb (1825-1906)from this area or somewhere else?
Thanks for any assistance! --Garrie 00:59, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
