Egg size

A plover's egg is often used as a reference of size; e.g., "a diamond as big as a plover's egg." I think this article should refer to the expression. I'd add it, but I don't know how big a plover's egg is. 172.144.153.189 01:54, 1 July 2007 (UTC)RKH

Pronunciation

Crocodile dental hygenists?

Despite it's name, Egyptian Plover is in a different subfamily to these. I've also reverted your good faith edits to restore the list to show relationships. jimfbleak (talk) 05:35, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
