Notability edit

This article does a poor job of showing the notability of its subject; but that notability certainly exists. In the Autobiography, chapter 10, Trollope wrote of the Duke and Duchess of Omnium as "...the best work of my life. Taking him altogether, I think that Plantagenet Palliser stands more firmly on the ground than any other personage I have created." Palliser is also the subject of at least one academic study, "Trollope's Ideal Statesmen: Plantagenet Palliser and Lord John Russell" in Nineteenth-Century Fiction (on JSTOR). The article needs a world of improvement; but the notability of its subject isn't really in doubt. Ammodramus (talk) 14:22, 3 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • Then I suggest that you add independent reliable sources to the article showing that this has more than "in-universe" notability. otherwise, a redirect remains in order. --Guillaume2303 (talk) 15:05, 3 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
