"It wouldn't be several years later when evolutionary biology proved that many groups of fishes were not related to each other; the class Pisces would be dropped and split into about five." I cut that text because it's unclear and ungrammatical; I have a general idea of what it's trying to say, but I don't know enough about the history of taxonomy to provide a more accurate, polished expression of the same idea. --69.111.79.129 (talk) 02:32, 4 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
