Plural

How to do plural of Polish words here? Do we have to mention that pisanki is plural of pisanka, etc.? I used mostly singular and pisanki for plural. Any better ideas? --Akumiszcza 06:12, 18 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Article name / please don't rename

It's wiki, and of course, every editor can do as they wish, but here's an appeal not to rename this article, and an explanation why not. Editors keep confusing Pysanka, Pisanka, and Pisanica, and wanting to merge them (see various article talk pages). They are three different ethnic styles and need to remain as separate articles. The articles have been renamed

• Pysanka (Ukrainian)
• Pisanka (Polish)
• Pisanica (Croatian)

These names should hopefully:

• make clear they are not alternate spellings, but actually different styles related to different nations
• make it easier for readers to find the exact article they want by making them more easily distinguishable

Per WP:NAME, this article should be called Pisanka, and shouldn't get moved again or merged without a formal proposal. I won't move it since I'm not keeping it on my watchlist. —Michael Z. 2008-10-08 15:31 z

Occult nonsense

Pisanka is a Slavic tradition of the coloration of the eggs which PREDATES any judaical or christial occult modern nonsese; almost all pre christian elements were indirectly absorbed into later christianity. Christianity is a forgery and adaptation to the old Slavic faith of the Old believers.

Captions
