1961 vs 1965??
I have always heard that the doughboy was introduced on March 18, 1961 [my wife's birthay actually] Now I am finding evidence that is was 1965. Even GM is saying it was 1965. What's up?

I'm not sure how it works
I'm not sure how it works but I did a search for the Pillsbury Doughboy with Google and found the following page that has content nearly identical to what is found here. It appears to me as though the content here could have been copied from the other page (http://www.adage.com/century/icon06.html)--but I'm not sure what to do.
