Structure edit

I am starting to add a bit of structure to this page. I would really like to add a fairly extensive history section, however I am still doing some research. Please chime in with any suggestions so we can work together to make this an informative page.

Use either ascending or descending order, not both. 84.248.218.89 (talk) 11:28, 16 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Records edit

With all the records being broke in 2011, it might be nice to put the records into a table, which would be a cleaner way to layout the record entries. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.71.200.117 (talk) 20:08, 26 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

It would be nice to have the speed in the records table listed in MPH as this is an american event — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.11.91.140 (talk) 01:32, 31 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Removed an edit that added the bullshit claimed Faraday Future "production" electric car "record" - this shit has been doing the rounds on breathless/unresearched tech blogs too. PPIHC has an UP-TO-DATE official records list (I have updated the link in the table header), and lo and behold - the FF91 is not on it. So the previous edit was at best ignorant repetition without fact-checking of a Faraday Future press release, at worst direct Faraday Future astro-turfing. 81.187.88.97 (talk) 12:04, 4 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

2021 results edit

If anyone is interesting in editing in the results from this years run, here's a good source: https://livetiming.net/ppihc/ 92.220.156.99 (talk) 17:39, 28 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Leaderboard implementation edit

That'd be awesome if someone was skilled enough to implement a leaderboard with all the best runs, the dates, the vehicle, the driver, and also a way to mention which vehicle broke the records at the time to know how long it took for each record to be broken etc..

Sort of like speedrun leaderboards for those who know.

I'm not good enough at Wikipédia-ing for that, but if someone has a bit of free time and knows how to do it 🙏 Esteban Outeiral Dias (talk) 08:11, 6 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
