Pop Culture Section edit
I removed this section[1] because it was just a glorified trivia section. Each character that was mentioned had their own article that already stated that they used pi qua. I'm not disputing the notablity of these characters and their respective franchises, but the fact that they use the art has little relevence to the subject, and adds nothing to the readers' understanding of art's development and use. --75.2.64.186 22:39, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
Teacher names edit
Re-added the teacher names from before, which were deleted. Albeit these names not having their own pages yet, they bear historical significance, and their listing is important for suggesting that other people add info on them. I have included a few inline citations for supporting the historical existence and importance of those figures. The inclusion of such names is common and acceptable on martial-arts-related pages on Wikipedia. Also see: Xingyiquan, Bajiquan, etc. The pages relating to traditional martial arts on Wikipedia are usually still underdeveloped, and it would take time until this interlinking mesh of pages about arts and teachers is going to build up.
- The names were unreferenced without there own articles. There is no way to judge whether it is useful or something you just made up. I would advise becoming familiar with how Wikipedia operates. Guidelines are available. Generally unreferenced material including entire articles tend to get deleted. Finally material in the talk pages should not be deleted.Peter Rehse (talk) 15:45, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
