Recently I have heard that Pierre Brice has recorded a series in French language too, and he said that'S the one he has liked most. When I've found a source for that in internet I am going to insert.
Maybe it has been the one mentioned in the article by saying "In 1979 Brice again played Winnetou in a 14-part TV series called "Mein Freund Winnetou" (My friend Winnetou - Winnetou le Mescalero), which did not originate from Karl May material."
