Behavioral Information edit

For my class, I have done much research on this species of butterfly. I edited the old overview section, and added more details from sections I added. Previously, there were no sections on behavior, and there were minimal references. I have added 12 sections and used new references. I also deleted the similar species and external links sections because they seemed unnecessary after my changes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mperumattam (talkcontribs) 06:04, 3 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

I have updated the article and re-uploaded the full version with sources. Mperumattam (talk) 02:08, 15 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Behavioral Ecology Edits edit

For a behavioral ecology class at Washington University, we will be making changes to this page. A student added some changes that were taken down without comment. I was hoping to hear why the edits were taken down so we can avoid making those mistakes twice. Thanks. Tjscott (talk) 12:54, 18 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Peer Review edit

Overall, I think this article is really well written. I liked your thorough discussion of the species' interaction with alternate mustard plant species, and your inclusion of genomic information. In general, I made some minor edits to spacing and wording. One section that could be edited is the "Social Behavior" section. Much of the information here is not directly related to social behavior, and could perhaps fit better in other sections of the article. Additionally, it could be helpful for readers if you include an explanation of what sympatry is at the beginning of the "Sympatry" section. EmilyKathryn (talk) 05:37, 1 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Behavioral Ecology edits edit

This is a great article and you clearly put in a lot of time and effort! I think that the genetics portion is real interesting and it would be great if you could provide some information about that section, especially because it is short and it is a good idea to have more balanced coverage between topics. Also, I think that in the host plants section, it would be helpful if you could use sub headings in order to make the article more organized and easier to follow and read. The social behavior section is really short, and it would be helpful if you could add more information to that section, especially about why they expand north and things like that.
