Former Southern Railway train?

Any connection between the Amtrak Piedmont and the Southern Railway's Piedmont Limited? If so, a chapter about it should be added to the article. ----DanTD (talk) 12:30, 19 June 2011 (UTC)

Locomotive Names

Extension to Wake Forest

In this article, it mentions that the state is seeking $1.2 billion in federal money to help begin building the S-line, and that the goal is to extend the Piedmont from Raleigh to Wake Forest once developed. Not sure if that should be included or not since that is all that is known at this time and can always subject to change in the future. --WashuOtaku (talk) 15:33, 25 November 2023 (UTC)

Here is another article regarding the proposed Wake Forest station and it mentions the Carolinion, but I believe they meant the Piedmont too. --WashuOtaku (talk) 15:37, 25 November 2023 (UTC)
