A Polish academic article I've read here gives the date 1962 for the first ascent (and it gives no names for who did it). Hmm, this source givs 1958. How much would Polish climbers be familiar with Argentine climbing efforts? It's possible that the Poles weren't aware of the Argentine (?) attempt. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 09:55, 8 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Regarding "The Polish expedition referred to the mountain as Innominata ("Unnamed")". According to the Polish source I read, the Polishe expedition referred to it as "Cerro N". N could stand for Polish word for unnamed (nienazwany) but that's OR.
