New Images
editI added a few images to the commons in case they're useful to anyone. While there are of course a variety of pickleball colors, the bright green ones appear to be becoming the most popular:
Dynamic?
edit"The minimal amount of bounce, the non-volley zones, and the underhanded stroke with which all serves are made, give the game a dynamic pace." All three of these factors are what I consider reducers the the dynamics. On what grounds can they be said to give it a dynamic pace? Also, when I watch players, I don't see a particularly dynamic pace (even though there be no observance of a non-slam zone near the net. Kdammers (talk) 12:58, 3 June 2024 (UTC)
- I expanded the sentence to read, "The limited bounce, non-volley zones, and underhanded stroke, with which all serves are made, combined with hard drive shots and overhead smash shots, give the game a dynamic pace." OvertAnalyzer (talk) 21:48, 5 July 2024 (UTC)
No-kitchen courts
editHow common are courts with-out a no-volley area? The court by my apartment is one such court. Is this rare or common in densely developed areas? An Internet search didn't get any text but did return images of such courts. Kdammers (talk) 13:13, 3 June 2024 (UTC)
- The non-volley zone, or "kitchen," is an integral part of the game. A court without a non-volley zone isn't a legal court according to the official rules. Are you sure that the court you're referring to is actually a pickleball court? Ian (talk) 17:57, 10 June 2024 (UTC)
