Tally
editThere seems to be an edit war going on right now. The proper tally is 37 for Ronaldo, 31 for Messi. This is according to Marca, the paper that awards the trophy: http://www.marca.com/deporte/futbol/trofeos/2010-2011/pichichi-zamora/pichichi-primera.html. Yes, it's true that Ronaldo's official league tally is only 36. Marca controversially awarded Ronaldo a goal that deflected off of a defensive player, a goal that the league ruled to be an own goal. The controversy is worth mentioning in this article, but there is no reason to keep changing the tally back and forth. Marca awards the trophy, so Marca's tally is the only one that matters. Ronaldo 2010-2011
editthe correct number for goals is 41. Please see this link http://www.marca.com/deporte/futbol/trofeos/2010-2011/pichichi-zamora/pichichi-primera.html--190.7.201.2 (talk) 22:04, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
- The correct tally for Ronaldo is that which is officialy recognized by Liga de Fútbol Profesional and the Royal Spanish Football Federation. So if they recognize the number 41 than that is the correct number and if they recognize 40 than its actually 40. Whatever a newspaper says its irrelevant as they are not the governing body of Spanish football and their La Liga.Ratipok (talk) 00:20, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
- This article about Pichihi Trophy (Marca (!)), not about LFP statistics. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.89.186.113 (talk) 10:46, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, this article is about PICHICHI TROPHY, thus the "officialy recognized" is that of Diario Marca, and NOT Liga de Fútbol Profesional or the Royal Spanish Football Federation.
If you want a page about top goalscorer of la Liga then, NOT NAME THIS AS PICHICHI TROPHY, PLEASE!!!! --190.7.201.2 (talk) 18:25, 2 May 2012 (UTC) http://www.marca.com/deporte/futbol/trofeos/2010-2011/pichichi-zamora/pichichi-primera.html http://www.marca.com/2011/10/03/futbol/equipos/real_madrid/1317645445.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.7.201.2 (talk) 19:10, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
