I agree with Moncrief [3] that it's confusing to leave this section with the simple label "Demographics", while detailing figures from 2000 that no longer have any correspondence to reality. I added a 2000 census subsection, similar to some other city articles that have 2000 and 2010 census subsections to allow people to describe each. You can add a new subsection above the 2000 subsection or add text without for current demographics. • Sbmeirow • Talk • 05:13, 17 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

"Final Resident" disputed - "Last Man Standing" edit

The LA Times article on Linderman's death seems to suggest that it was his intention that he be the last man standing- i.e. that he would remain until everyone else was gone- rather than him actually being the final resident.

Linderman, the owner and proprietor of the Ole Miner Pharmacy, came to be known as “the last man standing” or “Lights Out Linderman” for his pledge to stay, or at least turn off the lights if he were to leave town.

As a result, we can't assume he was the final resident without a source that demonstrates that more clearly. Ubcule (talk) 15:59, 5 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
