Article says: "PLSCR3 has been proposed to be involved in this translocation from the inner to the outer membrane that is essential for maintaining the mitochondrial architecture, mass, and transmembrane potential." This needs, at a minimum, a citation, but more important would be a plausible mechanism by which translocating a phospholipid from the inner to the outer membrane could possibly alter or maintain the potential across the inner membrane. You can add a citation needed template to highlight this issue. Please edit the article and add the {{cn}} tag after the assertion you are questioning. Alexbateman (talk) 11:22, 14 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Enzyme? edit

This protein doesn't catalyze a reaction. Isn't it more of a channel/transporter than an enzyme, as it is described in the intro? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.157.54.26 (talk) 21:55, 21 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
