Will take this one. Regards, Krishna Chaitanya Velaga (talk • mail) 13:08, 4 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Lead and infobox;
    • After being accidentally wounded, gassed and promoted to the rank of lance corporal, he was awarded the Military Medal in January 1918 for bravery in the field.; This entire sentence reads vague, it is something this he was promoted and awarded the medal for being wounded and gassed. Please rephrase
    • he single-handedly killed an eight-man German machine gun crew -> he killed an eight-man German machine gun crew alone; or something similar, I feel that "single-handedly killed" doesn't comply with the NPOV
    • Please consider splitting the lead into two for improving the flow and readability
  • Section 1; all good
  • Section 2;
    • 4:30 am; please add {{nbsp}} per MOS:TIME
    • in October he was gassed; gassed where? during which battle?
  • Section 3; all good
  • 65% confidence, violation possible. But I understand that this is due to the citation quote of the medal.
Very well written. Regards, Krishna Chaitanya Velaga (talk • mail) 10:23, 16 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
