State the Method

edit

As Phantasy Star Online 2 was announced to be on iOS/Android, they also announced that PSO2 will be presented through the Free-To-Play method. Someone please update the page to support this. Thank You. :) 97.103.93.146 (talk) 19:14, 30 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hey thanks for the info, you got a source to prove the data? I can add it if you forward it to me! Cheers again! BrotherDarksoul (talk) 20:20, 30 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Uploading Personal Screenshot

edit

There was a request for a screenshot of the game and I was planning to upload one myself, but I need an answer if I should upload it with or without the User Interface, UI. --(B)~(ー.ー)~(Z) (talk) 02:38, 19 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Not sure why, but some editor is continuing to try and remove the picture which shows the layout, characters, fighting system and other mechanics. It is not just once, but several times. They are not discussing why, does anyone know? ChrisGualtieri (talk) 14:20, 2 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
The editor has done it again. So I've warned the editor. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 15:45, 2 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
I might request a page lock for the image if it happens again. Hopefully, this doesn't start any trouble. --(,・∀・)ノシ(BZ) (talk) 18:50, 3 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
It keeps happening... ChrisGualtieri (talk) 05:16, 4 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Top of article is bugged.

edit

The top of the article is bugged. Please fix it as soon as possible. Thank you. Kijjin Seija (talk) 00:40, 16 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

You should probably give PSO2es its own page.

edit

I've fixed the misinformation listed on this page(honestly I have no idea how it went unchecked since april...), but I'm to lazy to add more details honestly. 2605:E000:1318:FD:35D9:E53C:A7BE:D223 (talk) 06:38, 29 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

New development team name

edit

As of July 2014, the team working on the development of Phantasy Star Online 2 - who was beforehand nameless - has adopted the name Phantasy Star Crew: http://i.imgur.com/5fnf8Fn.jpg
They do not seem to have a website, let alone a wikipedia page, though.

It is also misleading to state that Ship 02 players are predominantly English speakers. I play there are only about 15% - 20% at the most - of the population speaks English, but it's still the ship with the most English speakers.

"Hedgehog Engine" assertion

edit

There is no citation on either the Hedgehog Engine page or this page on the fact that Phantasy Star Online 2 uses that engine. It seems more plausible that the engine is derivative of code used in Phantasy Star Universe, but there is no evidence to this either. I suggest removing the claim on both pages. Furyhunter600 (talk) 02:55, 17 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Considering the game was not developed by Sonic Team (although the staff contains several ex-Sonic Team members, such as producer Satoshi Sakai), the claim seems somewhat unlikely, although of course publishers often share in-house engines with many of their development studios. Considering the way the Hedgehog Engine is optimized for 2D/3D transitions, it would seem to be an odd choice for a game like PSO 2.TheTimesAreAChanging (talk) 05:40, 17 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

The "unofficial" English patch and (lack of) IP Ban information

edit

I find it weird that the page talks about the use of an unofficial patch while not talking about the IP Ban that Asiasoft requested from SEGA. If the information of the "unofficial" English patch is to help the readers, stating the IP Ban by Asiasoft via SEGA should also help the readers as well.

The IP Ban did affect overseas players who did spend money on the JP server. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.86.91.91 (talk) 02:35, 17 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
