Material removed
editIn this edit, some information not present elsewhere in the wikipedia was removed, arguing taht a dab page should be for navigation only, not give information. I see the point, but perhaps this should not be called a dab page, then? Or could the info go elsewhere? It's this:
- Petronius is a Roman nomen shared by several notables
- Petronius, courtier of Nero, is considered by some scholars to be the same person as Petronius Arbiter
- Marcus Petronius Sura Mamertinus, consul 182
- Marcus Petronius Sura Septimianus, consul 190
- Lucius Fulvius Gavius (Numisius?) Petronius Aemilianus, consul 206
- Petronius Annianus, consul 314
- Petronius Probianus, consul 322
- Petronius Probinus, consul 341
- Anicius Flauius Petronius Probus, consul 406
- Petronius Probinus, consul 489
- Flauius Rufius Petronius Nicomachus Cethegus, consul 504
- Petronius Paperonius, Donald Duck's ancestor, in comics
If the first entry above isn't re-inserted, I think the page should also be removed from the category "Ancient Roman nomina".--Noe (talk) 19:22, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
