Solicitor

Did he not requalify as a solicitor after leaving politics, having been a barrister earlier in life?Paulturtle (talk) 06:07, 4 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

His House of Lords biography indicates that he was a solicitor from 1989, and this source says that he "was a barrister before requalifying as a solicitor". The blurb on his autobiography says that he was a practising solicitor from 1989. Verbcatcher (talk) 01:59, 9 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
