Reports of his Choctaw Name are greatly exaggerated edit

I'm enrolled Choctaw, close to the Choctaw community, and a direct descendant of Peter Pitchlynn's brother Joseph. It's common knowledge in the Pitchlynn family who are still close to Choctaw culture that "hachotukni" (the proper Choctaw spelling of the bastardization "Hat-choo-tuck-nee") was not Peter's "Choctaw name" but his clan. It's also the clan of his mother and direct maternal line ancestors, brothers, and sisters and sister's direct female line descendants. This misinformation about his name being "Hat-choo-tuck-nee" needs to be corrected! If no one objects, I will change it. Erinspice (talk) 23:50, 8 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
