A good amount of information comes from first-hand sources. Lectures, seminars, etc.

Languages spoken

Yesterday the professor Katzenstein gave a conference at my (French-speaking) university, and offered his apologies for not being able to address the audience in French, because he had only four years of French at school, "early in the morning where I mostly slept." I think that it is therefore incorrect to list French among his fluent languages. If no one objects, I'll edit this. Also, I wonder whether you can be fluent in Latin, since it is not spoken anymore, but I don't know about that so I won't change it.

I also attended his lecture at the Free University of Brussels on 18 November 2009. He admitted that he had not learned French well despite taking French courses for four years. The information about his knowledge of languages has been already updated in his entry in Wikipedia.
