Sure, he's great, but does this article seem NPOV to anyone? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 132.79.14.15 (talkcontribs) 17:14, 17 January 2006 (UTC)

  • I think you mean, "does it seem POV," and yes it does. It should be NPOV (i.e. neutral). -- Gyrofrog (talk) 05:40, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
  • I'm going to be attempting to wikify, neutralize, and clean up this article. Hotstreets 23:48, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
  • It appears that the article has been revised to remove most of the NPOV objections, and it doesn't appear that anyone is still editing on a regular basis. Unless someone objects, I believe we can now remove both of the tags at the beginning of the article. Engineer Bob 08:48, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
  • I apologize, I was going to end up fixing a good number of the errors that I had, but I had a busy week. Really the only think left, in my opinion, is to maybe clean up and make better the discography section, so I'm going to just remove the tags. Hotstreets 19:04, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
  • Also, in my opinion, it would be nice to get a picture or two of some sort, and I'll clean up the discography sections, add a "See Also" section, and possibly add the Chicago template. Hotstreets 19:11, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

Band infobox

  • Someone added a band infobox to this article recently; I'm not convinced this is an appropriate use of that template. Comments? Engineer Bob 20:58, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
    • I thought it might be appropriate to add it, since he is, obviously, connected to the band. I think in this case it could be overkill, especially with all the individual album links. However, what I think would be ideal is a "shortened" version of that without the album names, just the members of the band. What do you think of that? Hotstreets 00:48, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
    • Oh, whoops. I thought you meant the Chicago template. Well, I'm not too crazy about the band infobox either, but I was hoping that eventually we could get a picture to go there. That might make it much better. Hotstreets 01:06, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
  • I neglected to mention it at the time, but I converted the band infobox to the musical artist infobox in November 2006. Engineer Bob 06:40, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

Peter Cetera infobox

  • What do you think of the Peter Cetera template? Any opinions? Hotstreets 00:56, 2 March 2006 (UTC)

Children

Perhaps it would be fitting to add some information about his family? I know he was married (not sure of current status) and I know he has two daughters (Senna and Claire) but nothing is mentioned on this page. If anyone knows birthdates of his children and name of wife/ex-wife or wives perhaps they could try to add a section? 151.151.73.165 18:57, 3 July 2006 (UTC)CostnerM

peter cetera's birth name? does anyone know it?

His birth name is Peter Cetera - That was his name when my father knew him at age 16-17, and that's the name in his highschool yearbooks.

And his name isn't pronounced like etc., it's pronounced Seh-Tear-Uh. He's from the south side of Chicago. ReignMan 23:24, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

Anyone know who Senna's mother is? I don't remember any reports in the press announcing her birth?

Also, is his daughter Claire notable enough now for an article?

What a wondrous opportunity. Begat another mini-human and name the entity "Et." Et Cetera....a name just begging for a human to be attached to it. Yep. Karen Carpenter

Cetera wrote and sang a duet with Karen Carpenter, "Making Love In The Afternoon," for her only solo album, which was not released until 1996

This refers to the album generally and not the song specifically? Thmazing

The song Making Love in the Afternoon was written by Peter for Karen Carpenter. I believe he'd talked with Phil Ramone and Karen's solo album was mentioned during the course of the conversation. When Karen flew to New York Cetera submitted the song for her approval. Karen liked it and asked Cetera to guest on the recording. Making Love In the Afternoon was billed as a "duet" between the two singers. So a point about the song should be included in the main artical. Just a thought..

Restless Heart music video

Does anyone know who the little girl he's playing with at the end of the video is? Maybe it's just me imagining things, but I think it could be his daughter Claire. From some of the pics he's had on his sight I've thought the little girl looked like a younger version of her, and she would have been about the right age to have been the girl in the video. If it is here, it might be worth mentioning in the article. - annonymous 7/10/10 1:21 AM —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.64.14.195 (talk) 05:21, 10 July 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, that should have read If it is her," not "If it is here." - annonymous 7/10/10 1:23 AM —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.64.14.195 (talk) 05:23, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
