Removal of {{npov}} and {{weasel}} tags

I've reverted the removal of the NPOV/weasel tags. I have no intention of getting into a revert war and consqeuntly if these continue to be removed with no evidence of attempts to improve this page, I will prod the article as unacceptable and unsalvageable; I can find no reliable sources as to this man's notability, and none are currently provided, whilst the tone of the article reads like a cross between a resume and an advert — iridescent (talk to me!) 19:20, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

The man's notabilty for inclusion in Wiki is apparent in the article. See his list of achievements, publications, etc. A search on Google or in Who's Who shows that this man is at the forefront of his field. This man is internationally regarded as notable

Then provide some evidence of it. This is Wikipedia, and nothing's "apparent", as per WP:N. The page as it stands also breaks Wikipedia's most fundamental principle — iridescent (talk to me!) 20:29, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

How do I improve it? Any advice you can offer? I'm willing to learn

Advice The first step is to provide outside sources in published newspapers or magazines, or other media to his work. This is the standard way of demonstrating importance. If he has done the work specified, there should be no problem in finding them.

The second step is some details about his own publications: full publication details on the books, so we can see the reputation of the publisher, full details for a few of the most important papers, so we can see the reputation of the journals and the sorts of paper. Third, relevant external links to his website and the websites of organisations he is affiliated with.

I have removed the speedy-delete tag & substituted a prod, as suggested by Iridescent. This gives five days to get the material in. DGG 21:10, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

Please provide sources to establish the subject's notability. Of course, the need for sources goes beyond notability. Information added to an article must be verifiable, and facts included must be attributed to a reliable source. See also wikipedia's policy on bios of living persons. I think I've done everything you requested.I have added verifiable sources and references as to this man's notability, and have removed the tag accordingly. I think this is right? I must say that for a labour of love you guys make this rather hard but then I guess there is the reputation of Wiki to be considered.
