talkpage: persian-sassanid art patterns edit

I say keep this the way it is and expand more, Persian/Sassanid culture is one and the same, and important, for all intents and purposes and to mish mash it about the place is just wrong. ΤΕΡΡΑΣΙΔΙΩΣ(Ταλκ) 13:52, 22 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

major copy edit edit

this article barely touches the topic and mostly consists of an examination into the persian-sassanid culture and philosophy. FoCuSandLeArN (talk) 16:37, 18 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Why was this moved? edit

Why was this page moved? Should a new page be created in its place? There is an article without a talk page, you know. Jwoodward48wiki (talk) 22:24, 3 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Just fixed it! Discovered that the whole thing had been moved to a new page, talk page and all, but then only the article had been moved back. Fixed now! Concluded. Jwoodward48wiki (talk) 22:34, 3 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

"One hundred and eight years after the excavation of the Treasure of of Nagyszentmiklós' (1799) with a 'griffin fighting an elk'." edit

Does anybody know what this means? Perhaps by looking at the sources? I will try to contact the original writer of this passage. Jwoodward48wiki (talk) 23:15, 3 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

I wouldn't bother. The whole article is garbled nonsense, from the title on, and he hasn't edited since 2008. It would be easier for someone who speaks English to start again from scratch, or merge/redirect into Scythian art or Animal style, neither of which cover this side of things properly. Art recursion edit

Hello, I completed a copyedit of this page. As someone with no knowledge of this topic, the Art recursion section makes no sense in the context of the topic. It needs to be defined it its context, why it is relevant, and write that section so it doesn't appear like it's a non-sequitor. Esoxidtalkcontribs 22:03, 20 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
