I put importance as "high" due to Perrier's Sifaka's appearance on the 25 most endangered primate list, which has achieved some publicity in the general press. Not sure if this is the right classification though.Rlendog (talk) 22:11, 19 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
generally, the broader the scope, the more likely the subject's importance will go down. Since both the projects on primates and Africa don't seem to feel this is a very important article, compared to the grand scheme of all mammals, i would guess that this is important there either. -ΖαππερΝαππερBabelAlexandria
