The following information is being presented in the form that was handed down to me by parents. My father, Jamar Tarr, is a direct descendant of Francesco Peroni. My name is Justin Tarr and I am the great, great grandson of Francesco Peroni.
The original founder of Peroni Beer was Francesco Peroni. Francesco Peroni owned an orchard as well at the famous brewery. Francesco had a daughter named Luisa. She angered her father when she met and fell in love with one of her father's orchard laborers name Luigi Delle Torre. Luigi and Luisa moved to the United States and Luisa never saw her father again. At some point in time, Luigi and Luisa had changed their last name to "Tarr". More information on Francesco Peroni to follow.

Peroni began as an Italian beer, but the article fails to mention the current producer, South African Breweries. Also, the tone of the article strikes me more as an advertisement than an encyclopedic article, with many invariably positive adjectives that add no real content. I wouldn't be surprised to find this was written by someone connected with SAB or the Peroni brand.

Agreed. Changed the most offensive wording and tagged for cleanup. 140.247.236.86 (talk) 11:50, 27 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

A wholly duplicative template has been removed which adds nothing to the main SABMiller template. There is an ongoing discussion on the talk page of that template and the secondary template was therefore added improperly. Rangoon11 (talk) 22:15, 12 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
