"Perjury trap" is an oxymoron edit
According to Merriam Webster, the verb "perjure" is a transitive verb. In other words, it's a reflexive verb, meaning it is impossible for one person to perjure another person, i.e. perjury is self-inflicted. This article is therefore terribly misleading, and it needs rectification.

- Nowhere in any dictionary will you find that it's a reflexive verb. Webster even has the, althouth dated, definition "to cause to commit perjury" which is exactly what this WP article is about. Transitive and reflexive verbs are two different things. A transitive verb is a verb that requires a direct object (a somebody or something against which the action is performed). Reflexive verbs are those where the sentence's subject and object are the same entity (i.e. the action is performed against oneself). Open that same link you posted again, click on "transitive verb" just above the definition and you'll even get a definition of what transitive means.
