Severely unreliable source deleted

edit

The PDF document, Gonzalez, Silvia and David Huddart The Late Pleistocene Human Occupation of Mexico [1] is used to cite DNA evidence on the source of the Pericúes. There are no actual results or references for results, only the same assertion that is in the article. It is used for no other citation in the article. It also contains a very questionable conclusion regarding footprint "evidence" for human occupation of Mexico at 40,000 years BP. It is obviously not a reviewed academic document but a self-published document distributed through the web. The problems with the document are so severe, and its use is so misleading, that it has to be deleted immediately.75.111.54.141 (talk) 06:14, 26 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

I agree entirely. You might want to look at Xalnene Tuff footprints which needs work. Dougweller (talk) 16:52, 26 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
