Nationality vs. Origin confusion

edit

The article says Kindgren is Swedish, while the Info Box says he is ("Origin") from Copenhagen, Denmark. Will the original editor please make up his mind, and assign Kindgren his true data? Thanks! --20:05, 17 July 2008 (UTC) This remark was made by User:AVM

If you'd read more carefully, you would've read that he's born in Colombia out of a Swedish father and a Danish father. That he moved to Sweden when he was 3 and moved to Denmark when he was 14. He just has the Swedish nationality but lives in Denmark. I think this isn't too hard to comprehend. User:Wobuzowatsj (talk) 18:49, 10 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thank you. I have changed the "Origin" to Stockholm, as the word denotes the place where the significant time in life starts, while the birthplace is often a mere accident, and the place one currently inhabits (in Kindgren's case, Copenhagen) is by no means one's origin. (Joke: if you'd write more carefully, you'd realize it's very confusing for someone to have two fathers and no mother, as stated above :) ) --AVM (talk) 22:26, 26 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Someone who knows more about this than I do might consider updating the information about Per Olov's guitars. He now has another new one of interesting design. The information is on his website.209.121.225.210 (talk) 16:05, 31 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
