apocrypha about this is that Trudeau had told the CBC they had to do more community "voice of the people" programming, so they came up with this. It was so politically volatile, so I was told by the person presenting this at SFU years ago, was that Trudeau ordered it cancelled and doubled the CBC's budget with the promise that they'd never do it again......what' incomplete here is an account of what was said during the show, where it was going in its discussion.......very pertinent today (as the Occupy Movement builds steam).
