Article title

edit

The original Russian name for this state administration body is Народный комиссариат почт и телеграфов, with почт and телеграфов being the plural forms of the words почта and телеграф. That means that the correct English name should be People's Commissariat for Posts and Telegraphs. And this is similar to other instances:

So, I propose to change the article title and use People's Commissariat for Posts and Telegraphs for that. Regards, --Michael Romanov (talk) 13:44, 28 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

People's Commissariat for Post and TelegraphPeople's Commissariat for Posts and Telegraphs — The plural forms must be used according to the naming practice of similar institutions in other countries and Russian-into-English translation (see for details Talk:People's Commissariat for Post and Telegraph). --Michael Romanov (talk) 15:42, 29 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Note - the article already seems to be at the target position, but the talk page isn't.--Kotniski (talk) 05:47, 18 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
