Anyone know if "Penta" in the Konami Famicom game "Yume Penguin Monogatari" is the same character as Pentarou? It's kinda hard to tell as he looks different in nearly every game anyway, and they weren't exactly consistant with his name either... --Zilog Jones 04:35, 24 January 2006 (UTC)
- Im not sure. This page [1] seems to hint that it might be. But at the time of this game (1991), Pentarou was heavily involved in the Parodius series. They also give his girlfriend a different name. I think hes just a similarly looking penguin. --Larsinio 16:07, 24 January 2006 (UTC)

- Upon further analysis, specicifically of Penko, i conclude that it must be pentarou and penko. Look at this image http://www.geocities.com/opcfg2/yumeop1.png and compare it to the picture of Penko Hime from Penguin adventure. --Larsinio 17:55, 24 January 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, it's quite possible they're the same. It's just the artwork's a lot different to the MSX games and the later Parodius games (look here - it's quite scary O_o), and use of the -ko suffix to make animals or whatever female is quite reguarly used, though being made by Konami would make it a scary coincidence - we'll have to find out who personally made the games really and see if there was much of a relation between Konami's FC and MSX teams. Though saying that their MSX delevopers had dispanded by then and gone elsewhere - AFAIK a lot of them went to making Game Boy games, but I wouldn't be surprised if some went to do Famicom stuff too. --Zilog Jones 19:03, 27 January 2006 (UTC)

Redirected it to the Parodius series. The article needed a lot of work as is, and if it can be improved it should be revived...but only if it *can* be improved.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 09:22, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
