Commons Cat edit

I note that the current Commons Category for the images is "Penarth fawr" not "Penarth-fawr". Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 16:03, 30 July 2020 (UTC);Reply

Martinevans123 - Those Welsh spellings! There are are at least five variants, including upper/lower case and with or without hyphen that make it hard to chase down all the redlinks. And when they're not arguing over the name, they're disagreeing over which village the house is in! I've matched the article to the Commons category. KJP1 (talk) 16:40, 30 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
Haha yes. There's a certain historical cachet that comes with Llanystumdwy... Thanks for that. Martinevans123 (talk) 16:55, 30 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ha! Penarfynydd-Bach gets a hyphen, as does Ty'n-Rhos, but both Penarth Fawr and Penarth Bach don't! My knowledge of Welsh is not good enough to know why, alas. Martinevans123 (talk) 19:39, 30 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
