Kamahl edit

I'm new to this, so it would be nice to know if Crikey counts as a 'reliable source'. In any case that's where the Kamahl reference originates. --Shazdor 04:22, 19 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Expansion edit

Thanks to the Melbourne schools for the layout. Probably getting to the length where headings are needed. There is an 'associated public schools' box on the Melbourne schools - should there be one of these for Adelaide independent schools? --Shazdor 05:23, 19 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Bring it up at the Wikiproject Adelaide talkpage (link above) if you want to do it. It would be based around those boxs already available, and im not sure if their is a significant different between what we need at the Australian school infobox. Maelgwn 09:43, 19 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Kelly Preston edit

As she was recently removed from the list of alumni, I thought this may warrant discussion. To the best of my knowledge, Kelly Preston did attend the school, but only for a couple of years. I think she left in about year 11. So she did not graduate from the school but did attend it. Perhaps this precludes her inclusion in the list of alumni. However, the statement on the Talk page is incorrect. Shazdor 15:39, 18 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

James Brayshaw edit

Someone has written James Brayshaw was a former AFL player, this is incorrect which you can verify just by checking the James Brayshaw article. He was actually a state cricketer. I have amended this.

Richard Allert edit

Richard Allert's page indicates that he must have attended school sometime before 1960, prior to Pembroke's foundation year (1974). Either he attended Kings or another school - it is my preference that this be made clear. Shazdor 01:47, 27 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi Shaz, you are quite correct in that Richard Allert attended Kings (see http://www.unisa.edu.au/news/media2001/181200.htm). I believe Kings and Girton graduates still count as alumni, though, and perhaps the title to the section should be reworded to reflect this. Chris610 14:41, 27 September 2006
Ok cool :). Any ideas on how this should be done? --Shazdor 00:06, 4 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Building Names edit

I can't remember the names of the buildings in the photographs, so if someone knows could they please modify the caption or leave a comment? Thanks --Shazdor 12:44, 8 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Capitalisation of alumni edit

To all budding AA Milnes out there: if someone can explain to me why every description attached to the listed alumni requires a capital letter, I won't change it. However, without a reasonable explanation, it is really unnecessary, as, for instance, 'model' is not a proper noun or a title, and does not proceed a full stop. Where the description is in fact a title (eg 'Deputy Leader') or a proper noun (eg 'Commonwealth') a capital is acceptable. Otherwise, it is not, and I will be changing these ones back.

See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style_%28capital_letters%29, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_University_of_Oxford_people

Fair use rationale for Image:Pembroke logo.gif edit

Image:Pembroke logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The cover of every copy of the Green and Gold Cookery Book I have seen is green with gold writing. What is the experience of others? Pdfpdf (talk) 02:55, 6 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
